Cathy has been an educator for over 30 years working with children of all ages from birth through elementary school. In 2019, Cathy joined the Lancaster staff as Director.  She holds a degree in Elementary Education from UNCG.  She and her husband Bruce are blessed with two adult children. Cathy is grateful for the opportunity to partner with parents and teachers in the growth and development of our young students.  She believes in creating a positive, joy filled community that fosters a love of learning and true sense of belonging for each of God’s children. 

Jamie has been part of the Lancaster community for many years. Her children went through the school years ago and she feels lucky enough to still be a part of such a sweet school. She has a BA in education of Young Children from UNCW. Her and her husband Jay have two children who keep them very busy with school and sports. She loves being at Lancaster and being able to watch the children learn and grow every day. She feels it is truly the best part of her job!

Originally from Texas, Ashley moved to Greensboro in 2013. She has two children, and has been a stay at home parent and active volunteer for many years. She completed her undergraduate at Texas A&M University and graduate school at Ohio University. She is excited to be part of the Lancaster Preschool family and looks forward to a fun-filled and blessed year with your children.

Emily recently joined Lancaster Preschool's staff as the finance coordinator. She and her family have called Greensboro home for over ten years and during that time Emily has assisted several other schools with budgeting and financial affairs. She is excited to join the Lancaster family and work alongside such a welcoming community!
 

Although this will be Sandra‘s first year teaching at Lancaster Preschool, she’s been a part of the Lancaster family since her son, started attending a few years ago. Her educational background is in nursing; however, she always enjoyed working with children. Sandra finally decided to follow her dream of becoming a teacher and couldn’t be happier to do that at Lancaster preschool. 

Hello There! My name is Caroline Angel Okwakol, and I will also returning for  my third year teaching MWF Tots at Lancaster Preschool. I have a nursing  degree, and lots of experience nannying young children. Born and raised in the Triad, I decided to spend several years in Uganda,  serving on a mission team in an orphanage and school. This is also where I  met my husband Isaac.  I adore children, and could not imagine spending my days without any around  me. 

 Laura is originally from Greensboro, but spent about 15 years after college in the DC area.  I went to UNC (THE Carolina) for undergrad and USC (the other Carolina) for grad school.  Tar Heel always!  Though my degrees are in international business, my heart is in education.  My husband Bryan and I have 3 adult children, 1 dog and 2 cats.   At Lancaster I have taught 3s and 4s, and this is my first year in the tots.  I love to run, read, cook and share God’s love.  

This is Emily's first year teaching at Lancaster and she is thrilled to be with the Tots class! She has previously worked at Caldwell Academy with Transitional Kindergarten and First Grade. She loves working with children and is so thankful for this opportunity to be at Lancaster, working with an amazing staff to help the children learn and grow. She and her husband, Mark, have lived in Greensboro for 15 years and have three wonderful teenagers - ages 18, 16 and 13. 

For the past 14 years. Cindy has been blessed to be a member of this phenomenal team. It has been an honor for her to love and nurture these special children and to know these amazing families. She thanks Lancaster Preschool for this opportunity.

 I am so excited to be a part of Lancaster team! I love coming into work and getting to see all the kids' sweet smiles. I'm so glad to be in the 2s class this year! I am grateful I get to be a part of the children's learning journey. I can't wait to see them flourish throughout the school year! In my free time, I enjoy baking, reading, crafting, and going to the beach.  

 I am a mom of 2, Krystian(4) and Ella(2) both attend school here at Lancaster Preschool! Lancaster feels like home to me, we were new to town with Ella on the way and it was time to let Krystian start preschool. Everyone was so welcoming and wonderful it’s been the best decision we have made as a family and I truly believe God led us here to Greensboro and to this school. I know they are safe, loved and nurtured while they are there! I love this school both as a parent and an employee and I want to help make other families feel the same way we feel about Lancaster Preschool.
 

Hello There! My name ist Nadine and I am so exited to be one of your child’s teacher for the upcoming  school year! I have been working as a graphic designer for the past but always enjoyed spending time  with kids. Seeing my niece and nephew grow up was the best thing for me back in Germany. I’ve been  living in Greensboro with my husband Henning for a year now and I thank God for the great opportunity.  I can’t wait to start and am already looking forward to meet your child at Lancaster Preschool. 

 Kristen is new to the Lancaster family and is thrilled to be here. She has spent many years serving in children’s ministry with her church. Kristen is honored to get to encourage her students, facilitate fun learning opportunities for them and help them grow into all God created them to be. Kristen and her husband have two children who are both students at Lancaster.  

Liz has been teaching preschool for over 20 years. She has taught 2s, 3s, 4s and K classes. She loves working with children. She loves helping them to learn, listening to them and guiding them through their day. Every day is a fun adventure when you have the privilege of working with children!

Wendy is excited to be teaching the threes again this year at Lancaster Preschool. She has worked in the preschool setting for 27 years. She has worked with all ages from infants through Elementarv School. Wendy loves teaching because it's rewarding to watch children grow and develop.

This is Jocelyn's first year teaching at Lancaster and she is beyond delighted to be in the 3s class, it is her favorite age! I have four children of my own, two of which have come to preschool here (one currently). I enjoy hiking, cooking, art & music, and spending time with my loved ones!

Shannon is an Ohio native, but has been in Greensboro for the last 12 years with her husband and 2 children who are going into 3rd and 1st grade. She has a degree in Middle Childhood Education from Ohio University and has taught in middle schools in both Ohio and North Carolina and most recently at a preschool in Greensboro. Her family enjoys adventures and are pro road-trippers. She’s looking forward to joining the Lancaster team this school year!
