Drop-off & pick-up procedures

PLEASE be very careful when entering and exiting the parking lot. Enter ONLY at the ENTRANCE (closest to Lake Brandt Rd). Exit only at the EXIT (closest to Church St.). All traffic around Caldwell Preschool is ONE WAY. See map/diagram.

The carpool line and parking lot are cell phone-free zones. For the safety of the children, everyone needs to be focused on their surroundings and watching out for children.

When carpool begins on September xx, parents should drop their children off at the covered entrance.

• CENTER your car under the covered drive-thru; do not pull to the left close to the bushes and brick supports. Please stay in your car and the teachers will get your children out. For your child’s safety, please leave him/her buckled in the car seat until the teacher helps him/her from the car.
• Remember the carpool line is a “kiss and go” line!
• If you use the carpool for dismissal at the end of the school day, please place your carpool name on your visor. This makes it easier for us to get the right child to the right vehicle.
• Please pull forward to buckle all your children in (shown as “Buckle-in zone” on the diagram). Our teachers can’t be experts in every brand and design of car seat. You know how to secure your child, and safety is priority #1.

When walking your child into school, please use the doors closest to Air Harbor Road. The covered entrance is for carpool only.
